A 6-week group nutrition coaching program to help you meet your health and fitness goals without EVER dieting, tracking, counting, or logging again.
We all know what we need to do to lose weight, right? Simply maintain a calorie deficit. We know how to make healthier food choices, yet after a day of “clean eating” all we want to do is reach for the cookie dough.
This isn’t a moral failing on your part! Our human bodies are not designed to sustain long-term physiological (not enough calories) or psychological (specific forbidden foods) deprivation.
I was an early employee at Noom, and I saw first-hand the struggles our users would have. No matter how simple the change we’re trying to make, it’s just not sustainable to try to manipulate our food intake — in a battle of wills, our biology always wins! I could see that even Noom’s “not a diet” (cue the eye roll) perspective wouldn’t work for real people in the real world.
Why? Because real people go to cookouts and cocktail hours and don’t want to be that person who eats nothing but the crudité. Real people have to be capable of being around brownies without losing their sh*t. Real people don’t want to track every morsel of food they eat on an app for the rest of their life.
I mean, really, do you want to be calorie tracking when you’re 85 years old?
Ditch the Diet Drama is based in the #Moderation365 protocol, a perspective that teaches you HOW to automate the most important food choices in your life. As for the rest? Do your best. It is a judgment-free space for learning your body’s cues, mindful eating, and building an approach to food that allows you to eat to support your best life on auto-pilot.
This is not a weight loss program. Our first priority during this 6 weeks is to help you rebuild your relationship with food. Most likely, that will involve weight maintenance. After mastering these tools, they could be leveraged for weight of physique changes (and I’ll explain how), but that will not be our focus during these 6 weeks.
Live coaching calls are Sundays at 8PM ET. There is always a recorded option if you can attend live.
Nope! Anyone can give you a meal plan, but that’s not real life. I would much prefer to teach you how to decide for yourself how much, when, and what to eat
Generally, yes. Since there are no rules or prescriptive guidelines in this program, you should be able to apply the tools to any restrictions you may have. Of course, check with your medical provider if you have any concerns.
